The Armistice of Veckholm Church, Veckholm parish, Uppland February 2005

The picture has been taken in connection with the cultural historical characterization of Veckholm Church, the parish of Veckholm, Uppland 2005. The gunhouse has brick floors, and trimmed and whitewashed walls and arches. To the left of the entrance is a newly opened party with a toilet and room that occupies the entire west long side of the gunhouse. The spaces have the character of a cabinet with a front dressed on board divided into fields and crowned by a profiled strip. The entrance to the longhouse has a two-leaved, trimmed scope. The door is from the late 1800s and is designed in a kind of Neo-Renaissance with carved rounds and decorative forging fittings. Behind it is a double door with a laser panel. In a niche in the east wall of the armistice stands a sandstone from 1759. Against the wall stand three burial grounds and a runstone fragment was tilted.
