Shikason tsukiyo-Kumonryu Stamp Shi Clan Village at night in the light of Mon-Nine Tattooed Dragons

Shi Jin bandit, character of the novel “Shuihu Zhuan” (On the waterfront) written by the Chinese author Shi Naian (1296 - 1372). It was nicknamed Kumonryu (Nine Dragons) because of its elaborate tattoo. First time he was captured by the bandits who attacked his village and then he was convinced to join them. He became a popular hero because the group of outlaws that threatened corrupt officials and nobles. Figure 9 is representative in Chinese folklore, related to the dragon which has 9 characteristics, 9 sons and are 9 types of dragon. Being considered imperial number, only the higher-ranking officials were allowed to carry 9 dragons on the robe outside the emperor, therefore the character tattoo was a defiance against the imperial authority, which was punishable by death.
