Abstract
The aims of this chapter are to describe the epidemiology, clinical features and complications of Enthesitis Related Arthritis (ERA). Similarities between ERA and seronegative enthesitis arthritis (SEA) syndrome and juvenile ankylosing spondylitis (JAS) are also discussed. for Rheumatology (ILAR) classification of childhood arthritis [1] to designate a type of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) that had previously been called juvenile ankylosing spondylitis (JAS) [2], seronegative enthesitis arthritis (SEA) syndrome [3], or in more general terms, spondylarthropathy or seronegative spondylarthropathy (Table 2.7.1). Each of these terms has similar but different definitions.
