Resumen: La carta de Osmundo de Astorga a la condesa Ide de Boulognese puede fecharse de los años 1082-1096, y quizas mas precisamente de los años 1087-1096. Propone une versión precoz y muy particular de la historia de la venida de reliquias muy prestigiosas desde Jerusalén hasta España, une historia que conoció un desarollo mucho mas amplio en Oviedo, alrededor del arca sancta. Osmundo era probablemente originario del norte de los Pirineos. Planteamos aqui la posibilidad de un origen en el norte de Francia y de posibles contactos con la condesa de Boulogne antes de su llegada en la península. Su carta revela por otra parte el conocimiento de la leyenda de los siete varones apostólicos, quizas a través de la Epistola Leonis. Proponemos también una nueva edición de la carta.Abstract: The letter of Osmundus of Astorga to the countess of Boulogne can be dated from the years 1082-106, maybe 1087-1096. It gives us an early and very special version of the translation of a group of prestigious relics from Jerusalem to Spain. This same story was developed with important differences in Oviedo, with the legend of the arca sancta. Osmundus came probably from an area located at the north of the Pyrenees. We suggest that he could have live in Northern France and that he had contacts with the countess before coming to Spain. This letter shows otherwise the knowledge of the « siete varones apostólicos’s » legend, possibly through the Episola Leonis. Finally we give a new edition of this letter.
