Portrait of Sophie Auguste von Anhalt-Zerbst (1630-1680). The prince is depicted as a breast portrait in a medallion shaped frame. She wears a hairstyle decorated with jewelry and contemporary clothing. Her dress is covered with beads and gemstones. A cloth surrounding the décolleté is held in the front by a rhomboid brooch with a decorative cross hanging underneath and on the left shoulder by brooch, which is also rhomboid, with a drop-like pendant. Underneath the medallion frame is a coat of arms and underneath it the inscription: “SOPHIA AUGUSTA PR. CONTENT. NAT. DUCISSA SLESVICI HOLSATIAE”.. Among them is a handwritten text with ink: “Fürst Johannes Witwe geb. d. 5. Dec: 1630th gest. d. d. 13. Dec: 1680..” Signature, bottom left (in the record): "M. B. fc.'.
