The motivation of longing in Liviu Deleanu's creation

View through CrossRef
There are states representative of Romanian spirituality, without equivalence in the culture of other peoples. Among them is the feeling of longing, which is difficult to define. The multitude of meanings of longing are proof of the fine sensitivity of the souls of the people who sang it. In order to fully express this wealth of nuances, the popular poet used the most varied artistic methods. Longing appears in two poses: as a being (fantastic abstract or human) and as passion. The artistic nuance of longing is determined by certain aesthetic concepts resized in temperaments and lyrical structures of different orientation. The miss belongs to Mihai Eminescu, Lucian Blaga, Grigore Vieru, Liviu Deleanu et al. poets, as it had been of doines and popular ballads. Longing cannot be learned or acquired from textbooks. To be able to feel it deeply means to live in the being of the Romanian nation. And because human longings and passions make up the lyrical substance of several contemporary writings, their force of artistic revelation, the purpose of the article is to follow and analyze the feeling of longing in Liviu Deleanu's poetry. On the wave of longing, the poet communicates with the absolute. At the end of the article, we note: Liviu Deleanu is closer to Lucian Blaga, to the philosophical aspect of the transfiguration of the motif of longing with meditations on universal existence, but the model comes from folklore (the motif of longing itself being of popular origin).
