This article provides a comprehensive overview of the “roots and shoots of mindfulness.” Authored by Dr. Joel & Michelle Levey, founders of Wisdom at Work, and faculty at University of Minnesota Medical School (CAM rotation in Hawaii). The Leveys offer a insightful and well informed perspective on the modern “mindfulness revolution,” being two of the world first professionals to introduce mindfulness practices into mainstream organizations, medicine, higher education, sports, and government arenas beginning in the 1970s.
