Together with two other portraits of artists, acquired by the niece of Sophie Wolff (1871-1944). Designated li. u. “Sophie Wolff 25 October 26.” In the center of the picture handwritten as a Saxon bonmot, “B wie Baul,” on the back of the underlay cardboard, “Sophie Wolff Berlin Halensee Joachim Friedrich Str. 53/General Music Director Fritz Busch, Dresden/I. in zu Hindemith 's Cardillac, Dresdner Oper” with pen by Sophie Wolff in his own hands, including later with pencil.
