Letters

Letters undated from John Bauer to Ester Ellqvist, consisting of five pages written on both sides of a larger weight sheet of paper and on one side of a smaller one. Main writing handwritten with a red ink. Signature missing. The style of hand suggests John Bauer as a sender. On the third page there is a sketch that is partly drawn over the text. On the fourth page several sketches of the text depicting half a body from the back of the waist down, a bow and three faces. On the front side there is a large water spot, which made several words difficult or unreadable. Even on the last page there is a stain, but here the word behind is still legible. ..
