Dialética, diferença e pensiero debole em Gianni Vattimo

With the present reflection, we seek to understand the premises that allowed conceiving the “pensiero debole” proposed by the Italian philosopher Gianni Vattimo, who puts it as a ‘new’ ontology, which focuses on the design of the weakening of the Being. Additionally, we explicit the critical attitude toward the Dialectic and the thought of difference, based on the meaning of his criticism of the metaphysical tradition. The vattimian ontology expressed in the “debole pensiero” has in the category of “pietas” and in the critical power their horizon of “ethicity”, configuring itself as the main motivation of the Italian philosopher production. Perhaps this motivation is the more salient aspect of the (out)dated of Vattimos’s reflection.
