A lei natural no De rege et regis institutione de Juan de Mariana (1536-1624)
View through CrossRef
The present text is the first approach about the natural law on Juan de Mariana book’s De rege et regis institutione (1598). We intend to highlight the role in his discourse, mainly at book I. For that, two questions can be set as start point: (a) what the author understood as law and natural law; and (b) how it is associated to others subjects of De rege. At the end, we will try to reinforce its moral role within Mariana’s work
