Objects from a shipwreck in the River Rother

View through Europeana Collections
The drawing shows a sword hilt, a pewter plate attached to the side of the vessel, a perforated oak board, and a metal disc found in the wreck of a Dutch ship in the Rother. The perforated board was thought to be for a game, but might be part of a cheese press. The pewter plate is interpreted as a kind of trading licence.
