Escape Route Typology
View through CrossRef
Escape route in the building is the fundamental prerequisite of safe escape in the part of building, or in the whole building. The personnel get away using the escape routes of different quality. The start point of escape is usually on unprotected escape routes that ideally flow directly to exterior.
If it is not possible to eventuate the unprotected escape route directly to free exterior, it must open up into higher quality escape route. That means the persons go to partly-protected escape route or to protected escape route. The dimensions of escape route must verify at least required base typological demands, outgoing from real dimensions of the human body and must also make provision for barriers on them.
