Abstract The Ziegfeld Follies was and remains the ultimate in theatrical glamor. It was Broadway at its finest-the most gorgeous sets and costumes, the most beautiful women, the greatest use of lights and color, and the greatest comedians in theatre history. Being in the Follies was a source of pride and great success to all the performers especially to the teen-aged girls.
