Pengaruh Terpaan Konten Dakwah Akun TikTok @kadamsidik00 Terhadap Pengetahuan Akidah Followers-nya

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the effect of exposure to religious preaching content on the TikTok account @kadamsidik00 on the enhancement of followers’ knowledge of Aqidah (Islamic creed). Using a quantitative approach and Slovin’s sampling method, the study involved 100 young respondents as the research sample. Pearson correlation analysis reveals a positive and significant relationship between media exposure and Aqidah knowledge (r = 0.735, p < 0.001). Linear regression analysis produced a coefficient of 1.016 (p = 0.006), indicating that every one-unit increase in media exposure corresponds to a 1.016-unit increase in Aqidah knowledge. The R² value of 54.1% suggests that media exposure explains more than half the variance in Aqidah knowledge. The Hypodermic Needle Theory and digital literacy in religious preaching are employed to explain the effectiveness of conveying religious messages via short interactive videos on TikTok, particularly for millennial and Gen Z audiences. The findings confirm that digital preaching content on TikTok effectively strengthens the foundation of faith by enhancing understanding of Tauhid and other pillars of faith. This research highlights the potential of social media as an adaptive and positively impactful medium for increasing the quality of young people$\’s religious knowledge and faith.
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh terpaan konten dakwah pada akun TikTok @kadamsidik00 terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan akidah followers-nya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode pengambilan sampel Slovin, penelitian melibatkan 100 responden generasi muda sebagai objek studi. Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara terpaan media dengan pengetahuan akidah (r = 0,735, p < 0,001). Regresi linier menghasilkan koefisien sebesar 1,016 (p = 0,006), yang berarti setiap peningkatan satu satuan terpaan media diikuti peningkatan pengetahuan akidah sebesar 1,016 satuan. Nilai R² sebesar 54,1% mengindikasikan bahwa variabel terpaan media menjelaskan lebih dari setengah variasi pengetahuan akidah. Teori Jarum Hipodermik dan literasi digital dakwah digunakan untuk menjelaskan efektivitas pesan dakwah yang disampaikan melalui video pendek interaktif di TikTok, khususnya dalam konteks generasi milenial dan Gen Z. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa konten dakwah digital TikTok efektif dalam memperkuat základ keimanan melalui peningkatan pengetahuan seputar aspek tauhid dan rukun iman lainnya. Penelitian ini menyoroti potensi media sosial sebagai sarana dakwah yang adaptif dan berdampak positif bagi peningkatan kualitas keimanan generasi muda.
