Demographic data, etiologies, surgical treatment and its early results were noted. A univariate analysis of the factors of mortality was carried out. Results: We collected a total of 73 files, an annual frequency of 7.3 cases. The annual frequency of colorectal cancer surgery is 2.8%. The sex ratio was 2.3 (51 men, 22 women). The average age of patients was 53.4 years. Eighteen patients (24.7%) were received in an emergency context. The most frequently treated conditions were tumors of the rectum (52.1%). Anterior resection of the rectum was performed in 42.5% of the cases, followed by a left hemi-colectomy in 35.6% of the cases. One or more complications were noted in 45.2%. The most common complication was a wound infection, seen in 23.3% of patients. An anastomotic fistula was noted in 13.7%. We noted 5 deaths or 6.8% mortality. Conclusion: Surgery for colorectal cancers occupies an important place in our practice. It is most often a scheduled surgery or a deferred emergency. The complications are not negligible. Keywords: surgery, colorectal cancers, complications
