Of dubious attribution to Orrente, according to Angulo and Pérez Sánchez who describe it as a preparatory drawing for an anonymous author’s painting of the s. XVIII (Mº S. Pius V, Valencia) belonging to a series of historical personalities, although they appreciate the manner of Espinosa and Orrente, and also of Pontóns, of which another series of Valencian kings (Generalitat Valanciana) is known.
