Tashmimu Mawaddi Darsi al-Lughati al‘-Arabiyati bi Wasilati Booklet lil Madrasatil Mutawassithati

The booklet was one of the teaching materials that can be designed to support the main teaching materials of the Arabic language subject. This research aims to design and evaluate the booklet teaching materials that will be used to teach Arabic language for middle school. The research method used is Design-Based Research (DBR) and 4 steps were used for this research, that: 1) Analyze, 2) Design 3) Formative evaluation and summative evaluation and 4) Expanding. This research involved 5 experts to validate the product and 10 Arabic language teachers to evaluate the design of the booklet.  The research tools used were the questionnaire, interview, and documents, then the method of analyzing quantitative data used descriptive statistics and analyzing qualitative data using an interactive model. The results of the booklet design resulted in the production of educational materials containing Arabic language materials on the topic of "Patient Clinic" that are interactive, contextualized, and attract attention. The results of expert validation of the Arabic language booklet design in terms of content and language are 91.6%, and in terms of design 85.4%, so the designed booklet is suitable for use with suggestions for improvement from the experts. The teachers' evaluation results are 85%, indicating that the booklet can be used as an instructional material in teaching Arabic language in middle school.
