Der vorliegende Band präsentiert zwei Arbeiten, die sich im Themenkreis Frage - Fokus bewegen.
Während die Konruenz von Fragen und Fokussierung in einem Kernbereich von Daten gut etabliert ist, bleibt weitgehend unverstanden, welcher Teil der (jeweils sprachspezifischen) Daten im Umfeld von Frageform und Fokussierungskonstruktionen eine kontingente "Korona" dieses Kernbereichs darstellt bzw. wie weit der systematische Zusammenhang zwischen Fragen und Fokussierung reicht. Beide Arbeiten tragen zu einem besseren Verständnis dieses Aspekts bei.
