There are no traditional portraits that contemporaries made by the poet Ernst Ortlepp (1800 - 1864). Young Zeitz artist Christine Heinemann has taken a look at the poeting. It’s poetic, on the large-format woodcut. Full of hints on personality and life of the poet. The title of the graphic is no exception. The Saale Valley was his home landscape, creative inspiration and finally the place of his death. Friedrich Nietzsche wrote to Wilhelm Pinder on July 4, 1864: "By the way, the old town lip is dead.
