Découpe execution with Gustav II Adolf and Curfurst Johann Friedrich of Saxony. Background: blue painted paper (220x330 mm), urspr. covered with thin, sparse silk gauze with horizontally wrapped, thicker lines, 2 and 2 - now this material is highly defective. In the middle of the picture a mountain of calvary, joined by pieces of green, patterned silk, which in turn applied small pieces of yellow-brown, patterned silk. All joints and contours marked with a slightly over mm wide black brown paper strip. The mountain is crowned by a house of light green atlas with lighter (sprayed) windows and at the front a yellow door, the roof of pale yellow-white, striped silk. On both sides of the building language tapes with inscription in 4 lines on yellow-brown paper (all inscriptions on similar paper). Text at v and h about the mountain: “Wo zwey, oder drey versamet// Sind, in meinem Namen,// da bin ich till unter// ihnen, Matth. 15, X 25// Die Kirche Christi hier// auf diesen Fels gegründet,// der Satan, and der Welt// Sie g 'wis nicht überwindet.”Middle of the mountain: “Siehe, ich lege in Zion einen// Stein des anstossens, und// einen Fels der ärgerniss// und wer an ihn glaubet/der soll nicht zu Schanden/werden, Esau, 7, X 1.// Einen andern Grund kan// niemand legen, auser dem// der gelegen ist, welcher ist// Jesus Christus. 1 Cor. 3 X 11.” In the middle of the mountain a shaped crucifix, the body of Christ of paper painted slightly, lumbar cladding of green atlas, the cross of creme-colored?
