Minamoto no Yoritomo

Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshiga’s I様様 Iseries of Kuniyoshi with a hundred famous heroes. Here Minamoto no Yoritomo 様 (1147-1199), the founder of the Kamakura shogunate. Yoritomo was one of the most important figures in Japanese history and was also one of the most unpopular (because of his cold towards his brother Yoshitsune Yorand other relatives). Clothing: Probably traditional archer’s dress, without armor, equipped with protective gloves made of deer leather, with arrows and long and short sword.
