I concerti di Giuseppe Tartini: problematiche e proposte per un nuovo catalogo tematico

View through CrossRef
This essay examines the violin, cello and flute concertos of Giuseppe Tartini and attempts to reconstruct his compositional works from sources (manuscripts, printed scores and other documentary material). These have enabled us to resolve cases of uncertain attribution as well as to estimate the total size of his concertos output. The final section presents an examination of the concertos not included in Dounias catalogue and the problems of a new thematic catalogue of Giuseppe Tartini’s concertos.
