In the last two decades Medical Pharmacology have rapidly advanced in the countries of south-East Asia so that practice, teaching and research for the pharmacology by the specialist clinical pharmacologist is now well established almost everywhere. Much more recently the problems of irrational use of drugs and fixed drug combinations has been recognized as a serious threat to family health and national progress so that in most of the countries programme for encouraging evidence-based medicine, rational use of medicine, therapeutic drug monitoring, and adverse drug reaction monitoring are urgently and energetically implemented. we have designed a collection of patient cases to teach pharmacology-related points.
