Earthworks No 1 of the cemetery of Gudermesskie 1 earthworks (Chechen Republic, Gudermessky Region)

В 2017 г. были проведены спасательные раскопки кургана № 1 могильника Гудермесские 1 курганы. Исследовано 19 погребений, ритуальные комплексы в насыпи, относящиеся к эпохе средней и поздней бронзы, а также каменный панцирь основного погребения майкопской культуры, которое является одним из наиболее восточных в регионе. Погребальные комплексы средне- и позднебронзового времени дают культурно-хронологическую колонку, которая несет в себе важную информацию для понимания исторических процессов на Северо-Восточном Кавказе в эпоху бронзы. In 2017 preservation and rescue-archaeology excavations were undertaken at Earthworks No 1 of the cemetery of Gudermesskie 1 Earthworks. Studies included 19 burials, ritual complexes and their backfill, relating to the Middle and Late Bronze Age, as well as the stone structure of the central burial place of Maykop culture – the most easterly in this region. The burial complexes from the Mid- and Late Bronze Ages were assessed for their cultural and chronological timescale, which offers valuable information for understanding the processes of history in the NE Caucasus during the Bronze Age.
