The Systematization of Economic Principles Curriculum with Ideological and Political Education Based on the New Development Philosophy

The construction of curriculum ideological and political education in Principles of Economics is a key link in implementing the "new liberal arts" education concept and cultivating students' economic confidence. To address the current dilemmas of the course—separation of micro and macro content, fragmented integration of ideological and political elements, and insufficient innovation in teaching models—this paper takes the new development philosophy as the core ideological and political thread and constructs a systematic integration path. It reconstructs teaching content through "dual-module + dual-embedding", organically linking the five development concepts with nine teaching themes. It innovates the integrated teaching model of "BOPPPS + PAD Class" and comprehensively adopts diversified methods such as case teaching and project-driven teaching to naturally infiltrate ideological and political education into the entire teaching process. It establishes an OBE-oriented dynamic and diversified evaluation system to realize the synchronous assessment of knowledge, ability, and value shaping. This path provides a systematic solution for deepening the reform of curriculum ideological and political education in Principles of Economics and enhancing students' economic literacy and institutional confidence.
