Tratamiento con cirugía mínimamente invasiva de hernia hiatal y enfermedad por reflujo gastroesofágico

La hernia hiatal (HH), la enfermedad por reflujo gastroesofágico (ERGE) y la acalasia (A) son patologías frecuentes del tubo digestivo en las que la cirugía tiene un rol muy importante para su tratamiento. El objetivo fue presentar los resultados obtenidos en los pacientes operados en el Hospital Clínica San Agustín desde que se inicia el abordaje laparoscópico. Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal retrospectivo analítico con una muestra de 101 cirugías del hiato esofágico, 18 de estas fueron por acalasia y 83 por hernia hiatal o por enfermedad por reflujo gastroesofágico, y, de estas, se analizó las que se efectuaron para tratar ERGE y HH. El análisis estadístico se realizó mediante software Statistix, versión 7, mediante medidas de tendencia central y dispersión. El 87,1% de los pacientes tratados tuvieron excelentes resultados (Visik I y II)
