Landscape Plate with the name GOTLAND with the Landscape Coat, a standing weir carrying a cross spiked rod. Iconic motifs typical of the landscape inserted in intarsiate technique of veneer in different light and dark woods. Some smaller pieces are colored in green and red. Varnished.
The motifs depict the ivy, Dalhem Church, the rauken Virgin and a Gotlandsruss. Intarsian is cut so that the natural patterns of wood are skilfully involved and underline the shapes and volumes of the subject.
