Bird on a tall stump, where behind the back of a male figure. Dark background with trees. Painted in N. Poussin’s style, possibly by a hypothetical painter called “The Hovingham Master.” On the back of the canvas painted “N8,” 3 cm h. Red lacquer seal with Brahvapnet. Stifted tension frame. On the tension frame with red chalk: “this is skrifwit in fattbur (n).” Gilded frame. The width of the frame list 40 mm.
