Монография посвящена малоизвестному сюжету из истории взаимоотношений Императорской России, а затем Советского Союза с китайской провинцией Синьцзян. Впервые вводимые в научный оборот документы, недоступные на протяжении многих лет, позволили проследить историю формирования и выявить особенности российско-синьцзянских торгово-экономических и политических отношений в период с 1914 по 1922 г. Большое внимание уделено изучению отношений администрации провинции с белогвардейцами и представителями Советской России в плане выстраивания торгово-экономических и политических отношений. Данные вопросы рассмотрены в контексте международных отношений в регионе. Книга рассчитана на специалистов историков, а также на всех, кто интересуется российско-китайской историей.
