Lithology of oil and gas
View through CrossRef
The textbook examines sedimentary rocks as possible reservoirs of oil and gas and their impervious tires. The features of lithology and structural changes of reservoir and tire rocks, the features of their formation in accordance with the theory of organic origin and the doctrine of the stages of oil formation, as well as the lithogenesis of rocks are described. The main factors influencing the formation of reservoir properties of rocks and their change in the process of lithogenesis are revealed. The lithological bases of forecasting reservoir and screening properties of natural oil and gas reservoirs are given.
Each chapter is accompanied by control questions. All descriptions and studies are based on modern lithological theory and contain the latest materials obtained in recent decades.
Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation.
It is intended for students studying in the direction 05.03.01 "Geology", teachers, employees of the oil and gas industry and the fuel and energy complex.
