The design consists of cartouche devices alternating with conventional plant forms. The border on three sides is filled with a repeating curved floral stem. There is a looped fringe of gold thread.  Leather, silk, silver and silver-gilt thread, purl and fringe; hand-sewn and hand-embroidered.
