Bob Crossley - Early Works 1958-61

Born in the north of England in 1912, Bob Crossley produced a wonderful body of semi-abstract figurative paintings both just before and after his move to Cornwall in 1959. Although in his latter years Bob was to focus more on colourful fully abstract compositions, with his late 50s/early 60s works he has left behind a small and focused body of work which screams mid-century British painting. We're proud to exhibit a focused showing of eight such works from this period.
