Prispevek predstavlja Franca Rihtariča, zadnjega usmrčenega obsojenca 1959. leta na Slovenskem. Na podlagi dokumentov UDV (Uprava državne varnosti oz. UDBA)je prikazana njegova življenjska pot, prva aretacija (1950), bivanje po pobegu v Avstriji, zasliševanje UDV in vključitev kot agenta v delo te službe (»Žmavc«) in sodelovanje UDBE z avstrijsko stranjo (tajni sodelavec »Andraž«). Ob koncu prispevka je avtor postavil tri zanimiva vprašanja, na katera bo potrebno v bodočnosti še odgovoriti (smrt, grob in tim. »operativni nameni«).
