Dr Knud Rasmussen , the famous Danish Arctic explorer , died in Copenhagen from food poisoning contracted in Greenland during a recent expedition . Dr Rasmussen was 54 years of age and had travelled the Arctic further than any other European . It was he who found the bodies of two members of the ill fated expedition led by Sir John Franklin who had been seeking the North West passage 80 years before ._x000D_
