Off to a new horizon. By the time Monday arrives, the first party of Britons to fly to Canada under the new migration scheme will be comfortably settled in Ontario. This is comforting new for those wishing to settle in the Dominion, for under the Ontario Governments Scheme, called 'New Horizon', they guarantee an air passage and employment in Ontario for the price of the fare from London to Toronoto- £67. The first of these British emigrants to start their new venture in life left Northolt this evening, in the first of the Skymasters to be specially chartered for the operation. Picture shows, Mr J S P Armstrong, Agent General for Ontario, bids farewell to the first party of emigrants to fly to Canada, as they board the Skymaster at Northolt Airport this evening, Saturday. 2 August 1947
