The Influence of Time Management on Student Learning Discipline at the Saifullah An Nahdliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide counseling on the influence of time management on student learning discipline at the Saifullah An Nahdliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected through counseling, participatory observation, and documentation studies. This community service shows that the time management implemented at the Saifullah An Nahdliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School has a significant influence on student learning discipline. An effective time management system encourages students to be more disciplined in learning, as seen from their punctual attendance, completing assignments, and active participation in learning activities. The community service that was carried out provided recommendations for the management of the Islamic boarding school to continue to improve and strengthen the existing time management system, in order to support the instilling of better learning discipline for all students. Discipline is an important attitude to be accustomed to from an early age. However, the problem is that when children enter adolescence, self-discipline has begun to decrease, even though discipline is part of instilling character values so that children can manage themselves. Therefore, it is necessary to change the paradigm of children to want to move and have the intention to change themselves towards a better direction, therefore counseling on time management is needed. The results of this community service show that time management has a positive and significant effect on student learning discipline at the Saifullah An Nahdliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School. The better the time management carried out by students, the higher the level of learning discipline. The implication of this study is the need to improve students' time management skills through training and coaching programs at Islamic boarding schools in order to improve students' learning discipline.
