Structural features of bilayer manganite La<sub>1.4</sub>Sr<sub>1.6</sub>(Mn<sub>0.9</sub>Co<sub>0.1</sub>)<sub>2</sub&

Методом оптической зонной плавки выращены монокристаллы La1.4Sr1.6(Mn1–xCox)2O7 (x = 0, 0.1). Методом дифракции исследованы кристаллические структуры полученных образцов, впервые определена кристаллическая структура фазы La1.4Sr1.6(Mn0.9Co0.1)2O7. Частичное замещение марганца на кобальт в структуре La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 приводит к искажению (вытягиванию вдоль оси с) кислородных октаэдров MO6. Параметр ян-теллеровских искажений в структуре La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7, по нашим расчетам, составил ΔJT = 1.0396, а в структуре La1.4Sr1.6(Mn0.9Co0.1)2O7 ΔJT = 1.0193. Отличное от 1 значение параметра ян-теллеровских искажений говорит о наличии искажений в октаэдрах MnO6 и MO6 (M–Mn/Co) и, как следствие, о возможном эффекте Яна–Теллера.
