Fat (in the catalogue of carpet troughs) of wood of oval shape with protruding part at one end, similar handle. The cut decor on this part, which in turn is fitted with an inlay, which has been partially dropped. The cracked.
At Kayono 1978 p 224 there is a barrel similar in shape to this, called 'nima’. The train in Chuzaburo Tanaka Korekushon Mokuroku 1992 at p 42, nr 70131, is also similar in shape and is called “cepenipapo.” In Ethnologica 1987 Band 12 p 76-78, nr 99-105, there are similar ones called “chepenipapo,” but which are attributed to Sachalin. The shape is similar to decorated projecting part.
