<p>This dataset contains the results of a questionnaire survey of residents of territorial communities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region (Ukraine), focusing on their information needs, media consumption practices, willingness to share community-related information, and attitudes toward potential media partnership with the university.</p>
<p>The survey was conducted between February 10 and February 28, 2026, within the research project “Hyperlocal Media as a New Format of Journalism: A University Development Model for the Ivano-Frankivsk Region”, implemented by the Department of Journalism of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. The dataset includes responses from 182 participants across more than 33 territorial communities and was collected using an online questionnaire (Google Forms).</p>
<p>The data are anonymized: no personal identifiers (names, positions, addresses, or phone numbers) were collected. Geographic information has been coded (e.g., C001, C001_S001) to ensure confidentiality.</p>
<p>The dataset is provided in Ukrainian. English documentation (README and data dictionary) is included.</p>
