Doll's petticoat of quilted and hand-sewn linen, 1690-1700, London. White linen corded petticoat with two side pockets, gathered at the waist and tying at the back. Quilted in running stitch with a fine all over floral pattern. It fastens at the centre back with a tape and the hem is tape faced. The petticoat is pleated from a central front flat panel and has a pocket inserted at either hip.
