A video summary of the TOPAZ-1 Study PLSP: Durvalumab and Chemotherapy for Advanced Biliary Tract Cancer
View through CrossRef
The phase III study, TOPAZ-1, compared treatment with durvalumab and chemotherapy with treatment with placebo and chemotherapy in advanced biliary tract cancer (BTC). Participants who took durvalumab and chemotherapy were more likely to live longer than participants who took placebo and chemotherapy. Side effects were similar across treatment groups. Overall, these results support durvalumab and chemotherapy as a new treatment option for people with advanced BTC.
