August Wikström, Gräsmark, Värmland, born 1849, died 1939-11-29, married to Ingrid Halfvarsdotter, had four children: Brita born 1883-08-15, Anna born 1886-03-12 died 1971-04-04, Halvard born 1888-03-13 and Beda born 1894-04-27. August got work in Kårböle, Ljusdal, to build the foundation for the church. Then did the same in Älvros with the new church in 1883. He was called “yeast yarn,” because he did his conscription on the field hunter regiment. August was often hired as an auctioneer in many homes, was a tenant at Röjegården. Had his place of work inside Älvrosgården, which was moved to Skansen in Stockholm in 1916. August was the grandfather of Vilhelmina Lundgren and Anna was her mother.
