Knee piece Hans Joachim von Zieten (1699-1786), the well-known and popular general of the Prussian cavalry, standing half-left in a landscape with equestrian battles, clothed with hermelin, with black Eagle orders hanging the Hussar cap next to him on the tree. Berckenhagen records two repetitions of the preserved painting (foundation Prussian castles and gardens of Berlin-Brandenburg GK I 8405), once the present one and one by Chr. B. Glassbach 1781.
