Historically, the Hungarian theaters in Romania were never completely autonomous institutions without external pressure. As a result, due to the constant influence of social perception, press criticism, and politics, the success stories of well-known theater figures have always been determined externally. With my research, I would like to draw attention to the theater performer György Molnár, a minor director in the history of theater even though he reformed the theater life in Kolozsvár, and his efforts laid the foundation for modern playing.
