Top left: C. Duilius consul, primus Romanorum poenis class devictis de In oria triumphum egit... and right: Metae sudantis, pr [a] eterquamquod in numismatibus aliquot Vespasiani Titi, et Domitiani imppp. percussion... The print shows, in their ideal reconstruction, two monuments of ancient Rome. To the left is the rostrated column commemorating the naval victory of Consul Caio Duilio during the First Punic War. On the right, the Meta sudans, a fountain erected at the amphitheatre in Tito to silence people who agreed to attend the games there.
