Blue dyed wraparound skirt (M6-48)) and T-shirt on which a white pattern has been carved out with wax (see M6- 46) .Pattern: Wax Fantasy (see M6-47)Mrs. Kamara had a wraparound skirt made of white cotton and bought a T-shirt. Candles were melted in a pan. The pattern was obtained by folding the T-shirt and skirt in a certain way and dipping them carefully into the liquid wax, after which they were dyed in Gara blue (see 5212-5). Where the wax has been applied, the paint cannot reach and the fabric remains white.
