Experimental Study of Secondary Streamer Energy in Pulsed Corona Discharge
View through CrossRef
Secondary streamer discharge in a wire-plate pulsed streamer corona reactor can decrease the energy utilization efficiency of DeSO2. The influences of wire-to-wire spacing, wire-to-plate spacing, pulse-forming capacitance and discharge voltage on secondary streamer energy have been studied in air at atmospheric pressure. Increasing wire-to-plate spacing and decreasing pulse-forming capacitance and discharge voltage can decrease secondary streamer energy. Under the optimal wire-to-wire spacing which is 0.8–1.2 times the wire-to-plate spacing, the secondary streamer energy decreases.

Description:
Secondary streamer discharge in a wire-plate pulsed streamer corona reactor can decrease the energy utilization efficiency of DeSO2.
The influences of wire-to-wire spacing, wire-to-plate spacing, pulse-forming capacitance and discharge voltage on secondary streamer energy have been studied in air at atmospheric pressure.
Increasing wire-to-plate spacing and decreasing pulse-forming capacitance and discharge voltage can decrease secondary streamer energy.
Under the optimal wire-to-wire spacing which is 0.
8–1.
2 times the wire-to-plate spacing, the secondary streamer energy decreases.
