Since 1980 he has been publishing in different countries, more than 200 books, the majority showcasing his portraits. Since 2000 Esteves published his own books as 55 Portraits (Ed. D'Lippi, 2000), Presença/Presence (Ed. Terceiro Nome, 2006) about great names of Brazilian and international culture.
