Abstract
This item is, apparently, the lecture Gödel delivered on 6 Septem ber 1930 at the Conference on Epistemology of the Exact Sciences in Konigsberg. In it Gödel presents his completeness theorem for first-order quantification theory, which he had proved in his doctoral dissertation 1929 (these Works, Volume I, pages 60-101) and published as 1930 (Volume I, pages 102-123). A one-paragraph abstract of the lecture was published as 1930a (Volume I, pages 124-125). Further information on the Konigsberg Conference and Godel’s participation in it can be found in the introductory note to 1931a, Volume I, pages 196--199.
